COMPANY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM IMPROPER
USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR CARELESS INSTALLATION TECHNIQUES.
1. TIRES SHOULD BE MOUNTED
ONLY ACCORDING TO GOOD TIRE MOUNTING PRACTICES, AND ON EQUIPMENT
DESIGNED FOR THE TIRE INDUSTRY.
2. BEFORE MOUNTING TIRE, LUBRICATE THE BEADLOCK BOLTS WITH
ANTI-SEIZE TO PREVENT GAULDING OF THE THREADS. NEVER USE A THREAD
LOCKING COMPOUND.
3. SEAT THE TIRE BEAD IN THE SHOULDER OF THE BEADLOCK INNER RING ON
WHEEL.
4. INSTALL OUTER RING. TIGHTEN THE BOLTS IN A CRISS-CROSS PATTERN TO
ENSURE EVEN PRESSURE ON THE BEADLOCK
MAXIMUM TORQUE SHOULD BE:
10FT/LB FOR 1/4" DIAMETER BOLTS
15 FT/LB FOR 5/16" DIAMETER BOLTS
20 FT LB FOR 5/16" 12 POINT BOLTS ON CWI DRAG LOCK
5. THE OUTER RING WILL FLEX TO MATCH THE TIRE BEAD AND SHOULD PULL
DOWN TO MEET THE INNER RING.
6. RE-TORQUE BOLTS AFTER50 AND 100 MILES. USUALLY BEADLOCK AND TIRE
BEAD HAVE SEATED BY THEN AND JUST NEED PERIODIC CHECKING.
7. IMPACT WRENCHS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INSTALLING BOLTS DUE TO
THE POSSIBILITY OF OVER OR UNDER TIGHTENING. ALL BOLTS SHOULD BE
STARTED BY HAND TO AVOID CROSS THREADING.
8. USE TIRE MOUNTING FLUID ON THE WHEEL BEAD OPPOSITE THE BEADLOCK
TO ENSURE A PROPER SEAT FOR THE TIRE.
9. CHAMPION BEADLOCKS ARE DESIGNED TO BE USED IN TUBELESS
APPLICATIONS BUT CAN BE USED IN CONJUNCTION THE INNER TUBES IF
NECESSARY.
10. PLEASE CHECK THE FIT OF THE WHEEL ON THE VEHICLE BEFORE MOUNTING
THE TIRE.
